Information concerning the preparation and submission of pre-proposals
All information about the Call for Proposals can be found in the Call text and Application Guidelines. Research consortia who intend to submit a transnational project proposal should register at the electronic proposal system as soon as possible (https://www.pt-it.de/ptoutline/application/erare12). The system is now open. To register, please fill in the data sheet of the system. The same data sheet can later be used for the final electronic proposal submission.
Essential steps to submit your pre-proposal
1. Electronic pre-proposal submission is mandatory
2. Use the pre-proposal form provided by the Call Secretariat or download it HERE
3. Complete all sections of the form
4. Add the electronic signature of the coordinator on the form (electronic signature or scanned copy are accepted)
5. Save you document in PDF format
6. Verify that your proposal contains all information required, and that each section respects the length limitations and format (DIN-A4, Arial 11, single spaced and margins of 1.27 cm)
7. Verify that your PDF document does not exceed 6 MB before uploading it
8. Upload your full proposal via the electronic submission system:

9. Do not forget to complete other fields demanded during electronic submission
10. Please take into account that the online data entry may be overloaded on the days of the deadlines. It is therefore recommended to transfer all obligatory data in advance of the deadline.
National or Regional Contact Persons
Future applicants can find here (and in the Call Text) contact information for the E-Rare-2 national or regional contact persons, who will be most happy to answer any questions regarding this call or E-Rare-2 and who will offer advice or assistance with project applications.
The total available budget for projects submitted from a particular country or region will be fixed by that country’s / region’s funding organisation. Prospective applicants are invited to consult the National or Regional Contact Persons for the country in which they are working in for more details on the budget of the country’s / region’s funding organisation.
